Job Description
About the role:
We are a leading manufacturer of automatic and semi-automatic pouch packing machines serving clients across FMCG, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and agro industries. We are looking for energetic and result-driven Business Development Executives to expand our client base, generate leads, and drive machine sales across B2B markets in India.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and approach new business opportunities through cold calling, field visits, digital leads, and trade exhibitions.
- Present and demonstrate pouch packing machines to potential clients including food manufacturers, packaging units, pharma companies, and FMCG firms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and distributors.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and negotiate deals to closure.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by the management.
- Coordinate with the technical and service team for smooth order execution and after-sales support.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and sales activities in CRM or MIS reports.
- Collect market intelligence on competitor products, pricing, and industry trends.
- Participate in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.
Required skills & qualifications:
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and basic English (written and spoken).
- Proven ability in B2B sales, client acquisition, or business development.
- Self-motivated with a target-oriented mindset and willingness to travel locally and outstation.
- Basic computer knowledge — MS Office, Email, and CRM tools.
- Prior experience in industrial machinery, packaging equipment, or capital goods sales is a strong advantage.
