Position Area Sales Executive (ASE)

Reporting To Area Sales Manager (ASM)
Job Summary
The Area Sales Executive (ASE) is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding dealer networks, increasing market coverage, and ensuring product availability within the assigned territory. The role involves regular market visits, dealer relationship management, order generation, collection follow-up, and execution of company sales strategies.
- Key ResponsibilitiesSales DevelopmentAchieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Generate orders from existing dealers and distributors.
- Increase secondary sales within the assigned territory.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and schemes.
- Dealer Network ExpansionIdentify and appoint new dealers and retail partners.
- Increase market penetration and territory coverage.
- Build strong relationships with dealers and retailers.
- Market ExecutionEnsure product availability at dealer outlets.
- Monitor display placement and branding activities.
- Execute promotional schemes and sales campaigns.
- Collection ManagementFollow up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain healthy dealer accounts and payment discipline.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order processing.
- Reporting & CommunicationSubmit daily market visit reports.
- Update daily orders received in the sales WhatsApp group.
- Share market intelligence, competitor activities, and dealer feedback.
- Maintain accurate sales and customer records.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Sales achievement against targets.
- Number of active dealers.
- New dealer appointments.
- Secondary sales growth.
- Collection efficiency.
- Market coverage and productivity.
- QualificationBBA / Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- ExperienceFreshers can apply.
- 0–3 years of sales experience in consumer durables, electronics, appliances, FMCG, or retail sales preferred.
- Skills RequiredStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
