Job Description
- Key Responsibilities Operate VMC machines to manufacture components as per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform machine setup, job loading, and fixture alignment.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
- Monitor machining operations and make minor offset adjustments when required.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Measure and inspect components using precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of machined parts.
- Maintain production records and machine logs.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance activities.
- Report machine breakdowns and quality issues to supervisors.
- Follow safety procedures and company quality standards.
- Achieve daily production targets with minimum rejection and downtime.
- Required QualificationsITI (Fitter/Machinist/Turner) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Certification in CNC/VMC Machine Operation is an added advantage.
- Experience2–5 years of experience operating VMC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in automotive, engineering, aerospace, tool room, or precision machining industries preferred.
