Job Description: Blue-Collar Recruiter (Manufacturing Staffing)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven HR Blue-Collar Recruiter to join our Manufacturing Staffing Division. You will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, focusing on high-volume hiring for the manufacturing sector. Your primary goal is to ensure the consistent and timely deployment of skilled blue-collar workforce (ITI, Diploma, and HSC graduates) to meet our clients' production requirements.
Responsibilities
- 1. High-Volume Sourcing & Recruitment: End-to-end Execution: Manage the complete hiring cycle—from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation, onboarding, and final placement.
- Aggressive Sourcing: Utilize diverse channels including job portals (Naukri, Indeed), social media (LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, WhatsApp Communities), and "ground-level" sourcing (postering, gate hiring, and job fairs).
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a steady, proactive pipeline of candidates, specifically focusing on roles such as Production Trainees, Machine Operators, Quality Inspectors, Fitters, Electricians, and Machinists.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in recruitment, specifically within Manufacturing, Capital Goods, or Automobile Staffing. (Experience in a third-party payroll agency is highly preferred).
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of technical trades (Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Welder) and Diploma branches (Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
- Attitude: Willingness to work in a field-heavy, fast-paced environment.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Time-to-Fill: Closing urgent requirements within specified timelines.
- Fill Rate: Achieving monthly hiring targets consistently.
- Retention: Quality of hire and stability of placed candidates.
- Data Accuracy: Maintenance of recruitment trackers and ATS/ERP systems.
