Job Description

The Accountant is responsible for managing the organization's day-to-day financial and accounting activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The role includes maintaining accounting records, processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing vouchers, bank reconciliation, and recording financial transactions in accounting software. The Accountant assists in payroll processing, statutory compliance, GST/TDS documentation, audit support, budgeting, and preparation of monthly financial reports. The role also involves monitoring cash flow, verifying bills, maintaining vendor and customer ledgers, coordinating with internal departments for financial documentation, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. The Accountant should maintain confidentiality of financial information, identify discrepancies, and support management with financial analysis and decision-making. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software are essential. The ideal candidate should possess good communication skills, a sound understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work within deadlines while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Accountant contributes to the organization's financial stability by maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, improving financial processes, and ensuring efficient financial operations across all departments.
