Civil Site Engineer

We are hiring Civil Site Engineer for our company for Telangana Government Building works at Adilabad. We are looking for candidates with building experience. Below is the job description:

• To supervise ongoing civil work at all the stage.
• Should be good at taking Quantities from Drawings on time.
• Should be good at Design calculations, Cost effective and also at Cost estimation.
• To coordinate with different contractors, vendors and site workers to maintain and improve the speed of project work.
• Supervising the labour for different site works.
• To ensure that the work is done strictly as per the drawings and tender specifications and in case of any issues to bring to the notice of the Project Manager for timely addressing of the issues.
• To check on the quality and accuracy of the work
• To check the rate of material and minimize wastage.
• Estimating the quantities of steel and concrete and building materials.
• To prepare necessary R.A bills, cash bills, final bills as per the work stage
• To check all rectification for structural as well as finishing work, check daily progress report, quantities of work completed, material consumed, and labour cost.
• To keep a check on daily departmental labour.
• To supervise centring work and concreting work for best results.
• To discuss the problems in execution with the Project Manager/Project Engineer and find suitable solutions.
• To communicate all relevant information with the junior staff and contractors
• To get the maximum output from all junior staff & labourers
• To guide safety precautions to junior engineers and contractors employees.
• To observe security arrangements.
• To observe the cleanliness at all level
• To collect the drawings from the Architect / Consultant.
• To carry out any other tasks as assigned by Management from time to time.

Desired skills and experience:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 3+ years of experience.
• Good understanding of basic civil structural terminology
• Perform or oversee testing to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations.
• Taking charge of civil works and delivering them as per requirement.
• Sound domain knowledge and should be able to understand drawings perfectly.
• Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specification.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
