Facility Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, security, and smooth operation of our manufacturing plant and office facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all facilities are well-maintained, compliant with statutory requirements, and provide a safe and efficient working environment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage the overall maintenance of the factory, office buildings, and surrounding premises.
• Plan and supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of facility equipment.
• Ensure uninterrupted functioning of utilities such as electrical systems, DG sets, water supply, air compressors, HVAC, and firefighting systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance, housekeeping, security, pest control, and other facility services.
• Monitor Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and ensure timely service completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, utility consumption, and vendor performance.
• Prepare and monitor facility maintenance budgets and control operational expenses.
• Ensure proper waste management and support environmental and sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate with HR, Administration, Production, and other departments for facility-related requirements.
• Handle emergency situations and ensure timely resolution of facility issues.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of facility management and building maintenance.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and utility systems.
• Knowledge of fire safety, statutory compliance, and workplace safety standards.
• Vendor and contractor management.
• Budgeting and cost control.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP or ERP is an added advantage.
