Job Description
- Job ResponsibilitiesAssist ophthalmologists during OPD consultations, diagnostic procedures, and eye surgeries.
- Prepare patients for eye examinations and surgical procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications, eye drops, and treatments.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Assist in Operation Theatre (OT) and maintain sterilization protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and maintain accurate nursing records.
- Counsel patients regarding medication usage, eye care, and follow-up visits.
- Ensure infection control, patient safety, and hospital hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with doctors and hospital staff for smooth patient care and workflow.
- RequirementsGNM qualification with valid Nursing Council registration.
- Good communication and patient-care skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience in an eye hospital will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to learn ophthalmic nursing procedures and OT management.
