# Job Description – Duty Officer
**Position:** Duty Officer

## Job Summary
PVR INOX is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Duty Officer to oversee daily cinema operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and support the theatre team in achieving operational excellence. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in hospitality, retail, entertainment, or a similar customer service environment.
## Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily theatre operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
* Deliver excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
* Monitor staff performance, attendance, grooming, and adherence to company standards.
* Coordinate with Box Office, Concessions, Housekeeping, Security, and Projection teams for seamless operations.
* Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and hygiene guidelines.
* Handle guest complaints and provide effective resolutions.
* Assist in staff scheduling, shift management, and operational reporting.
* Support inventory management and monitor stock availability.
* Ensure theatres and public areas are clean, safe, and ready for guests.
* Assist the Cinema Manager in achieving business and operational targets.
## Eligibility
* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality, retail, entertainment, QSR, or customer service operations.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
