Job Description
Company: Medius Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Location: Mumbai (Churchgate) Department: Legal Tele-collections Reports To: Team Lead / Collections Manager
Role Summary We are looking for a Debt Recovery Agent to manage tele-collection activities for banking and NBFC clients, ensuring timely recovery of overdue accounts while maintaining compliance with RBI guidelines and legal collection protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound tele-collection calls to delinquent borrowers as per assigned portfolios
- Negotiate repayment plans and settlements within approved authority limits
- Maintain accurate call logs, disposition codes, and follow-up schedules in the CRM/dialer system
- Escalate high-risk or non-cooperative cases per SOP
- Ensure all communication adheres to RBI Fair Practices Code and client-specific compliance guidelines
- Meet daily/monthly recovery targets (collection %, right party contact rate, promise-to-pay conversion)
- Coordinate with legal and field teams for cases requiring escalation
Required Qualifications
- Valid DRA (Debt Recovery Agent) Certification (IIBF or equivalent, as mandated by RBI)
- Minimum 1–2 years of tele-collection experience in banking/NBFC/BPO collections environment
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred, not mandatory)
Skills Required
- Strong verbal communication in Hindi/English (regional language a plus)
- Negotiation and objection-handling skills
- Basic computer proficiency (CRM, Excel, dialer systems)
- Ability to work under targets in a fast-paced environment
- Emotional resilience and professionalism under pressure
Compensation: As per industry standards + incentives on collection performance
