Job Description: Lead AI Engineer (Real Estate FinTech)

TRC is a niche, California-based Transaction Coordination firm. We are disrupting the 30-day escrow process by combining 24/7/365 human expertise with cutting-edge Agentic AI. We are building the first "Self-Driving Escrow" platform to help realtors navigate the complex California regulatory landscape with zero friction.

The Role

As our Lead AI Engineer, you will be the primary architect of the TRC "Brain." You won't just be calling APIs; you will be designing a system that can "read" complex legal contracts, reason through California disclosure laws, and orchestrate autonomous workflows.

Key Responsibilities

 * Architect Agentic Workflows: Design and implement LLM-based agents (using frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen) that can handle multi-step transaction tasks.

 * Build High-Accuracy IDP: Develop the pipeline for extracting structured data from messy, multi-page C.A.R. (California Association of Realtors) PDFs with near-perfect accuracy.

 * RAG Implementation: Build and optimize a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system using a Vector Database (Pinecone/Weaviate) to allow agents to "chat with their deal documents."

 * Compliance & Safety: Implement "Human-in-the-Loop" (HITL) guardrails to ensure AI-generated legal addendums are flagged for human review.

 * Scalability: Lead the transition from a Python-based prototype to a robust, SOC 2 compliant production environment.

Technical Requirements

 * AI/ML: 3+ years of experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic). Deep understanding of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and context window management.

 * Frameworks: Mastery of Python and experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex.

 * Vision: Experience with Multimodal models (GPT-4o, Gemini 1.5 Pro) for reading checkboxes and spatial layouts in documents.

 * Backend: Proficiency in Node.js or Python (FastAPI/Django) and experience with AWS/GCP AI infrastructure.

 * Domain (Plus): Prior experience in PropTech, FinTech, or LegalTech is a major advantage.
