Job Summary

Amartex Industries Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting for its manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, inventory accounting, ERP/Tally, and manufacturing accounting processes. Experience in a textile or manufacturing environment will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions, including purchase, sales, journal, cash, and bank entries.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) with timely reconciliations.
• Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and inventory accounting.
• Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, and Production departments for inventory reconciliation.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Prepare MIS reports, P&L statements, Balance Sheet schedules, and management reports.
• Support internal and statutory audits by maintaining proper documentation.
• Verify vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payment processing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable laws.
• Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, and expense control initiatives.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter preferred).
• 3–6 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, SAP, or any ERP system.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, MS Excel, and financial reporting.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in textile or garment manufacturing.
• Knowledge of inventory valuation, cost accounting, and production accounting.
• Ability to work under deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
