Job Description
Create accurate 2D/3D models, assembly drawings, and detailed fabrication prints using CAD software like AutoCAD and Solidedge, solidworks
Interpret engineering notes, rough sketches, and technical manuals to compute precise dimensions, material types, and geometric tolerances (GD&T)
Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and part drawings using CAD software.
Create 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D models.
Develop machine layouts, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings.
Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM).
Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings and sectional views.
Revise drawings based on engineering changes and customer feedback.
Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards, tolerances, and specifications.
Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and quality departments.
Maintain drawing records, revision history, and document control.
Assist in preparing technical documentation and operation manuals.
Support shop-floor teams during fabrication and assembly.
