Marketing Coordinator

Location Rest of Maharashtra

As a Market Linkage Coordinator at FarmRise One, you will play a key role in connecting smallholder farmers with input and output markets. Your responsibilities include facilitating seed bookings, offering agronomic guidance, generating input demand, and ensuring smooth post-harvest procurement and linkage with buyers. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Seed Booking & Placement 

• Collaborate with FPOs to promote and facilitate bookings of Dekalb maize seeds (Bayer). 
• Ensure timely placement and last-mile delivery of seeds through FPO networks. 

2. Agronomic Support & Demand Generation 

• Provide season-long agronomic support to farmers using the FarmRise platform. 
• Share advisories on pest/disease management, fertilizer application, and crop practices. 
• Promote Bayer and non-Bayer agri-inputs and generate input demand across villages. 

3. Market Linkage & Procurement 

• Support FPOs in post-harvest procurement and produce aggregation. 
• Conduct basic quality checks using field tools and protocols. 
• Facilitate sale of produce to institutional buyers/offtakers ensuring fair pricing and timely payment to farmers. 

4. Stakeholder Engagement 

1. Build strong relationships with FPO directors, farmers, agri-dealers, and procurement partners. 
2. Organize farmer meetings, crop demos, training sessions, and input campaigns.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 

1. Number of seed bookings & fulfillment through FPOs 
2. Volume of Bayer and non-Bayer agri-inputs sold 
3. Quantity of produce procured and sold to buyers 
4. Increase in farmer engagement and satisfaction 
5. Active FPO participation in both input and output operations 

Qualifications & Skills 

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Rural Development, or related disciplines 

Understanding of maize cultivation and market linkage processes 

Strong interpersonal and rural communication skills 

Tech-savvy: Familiar with mobile-based digital tools and data entry 

Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable with field-based travel
