Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Export Sales Executive responsible for generating international sales lead, handling export documentation, and managing dispatch operations. The candidate will play a key role in expanding global business while ensuring smooth execution of export orders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Export Sales & Business Development
· Identify and develop new international clients and markets.
· Handle inquiries from overseas customers and convert them into sales.
· Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate pricing, and close deals.
· Maintain strong relationships with existing export clients.
2. Order Processing & Coordination
· Coordinate with production and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
· Monitor order status from confirmation to delivery.
· Communicate updates to clients regarding shipment schedules.
3. Export Documentation
· Prepare and manage all export-related documents such as:
· Commercial Invoice
· Packing List
· Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
· Certificate of Origin
· Inspection Certificates
· Export Licenses (if applicable)
· Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and documentation standards.
4. Dispatch & Logistics Management
· Plan and execute dispatch of export shipments.
· Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agents), and logistics providers.
· Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to customers.
· Handle shipping documentation and customs clearance processes.
5. Compliance & Formalities
· Ensure adherence to export policies, DGFT regulations, and company procedures.
· Manage documentation related to payments (LC, advance, etc.).
· Maintain proper records of export transactions and reports.
6. Required Skills & Qualifications
· 2–5 years of experience in export sales and documentation.
· Strong knowledge of export procedures, logistics, and international trade.
· Good communication and negotiation skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office and email communication.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
7. Preferred Skills
· Experience in handling industrial/laboratory equipment exports.
· Knowledge of INCOTERMS, LC handling, and DGFT procedures.
· Familiarity with ERP systems.
