Job Description: Store & Office Assistant
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and highly organized Store & Office Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, bridging the gap between warehouse logistics and front-office administration. Your duties will range from managing inventory and preparing customer dispatches to running essential errands, updating digital logs, and keeping our workspace immaculate.

Key Responsibilities
1. Dispatch, Packing & Logistics
- Order Preparation: Carefully pack materials, products, and orders for daily shipments ensuring accuracy, protective wrapping, and professional presentation.
- Labeling & Sorting: Generate shipping labels, double-check invoices against physical items.
- Courier Coordination: Coordinate with delivery drivers for daily pickups and resolve basic transit or delivery issues.
2. Warehouse Management & Stock Control
- Inventory Stacking: Unload incoming shipments, inspect goods for damages or discrepancies, and systematically stack/shelve items for optimal space utilization.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment. Ensure aisles are clear and waste packaging material is disposed of daily.
- Stock Tracking: Conduct regular physical stock counts, assist with audits, and proactively report low inventory or packaging material levels to management.
3. Office Support & Errands
- External Errands: Run daily local errands, including intra city drops, bank deposits, purchasing office/warehouse supplies, and handling urgent pickups.
- Facility Upkeep: Ensure the office space, meeting rooms, and communal areas are tidy, stocked with essentials (coffee, paper, soap), and welcoming.
- Vendor Reception: Greet visitors, accept incoming mail/packages, and direct service technicians (HVAC, internet, facility maintenance) when they arrive.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in a retail store, warehouse, stockroom, or office support role is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move heavy packages (up to 20-30 kgs) regularly throughout the day.
- Tech Savvy: Basic computer literacy (familiarity with Microsoft Excel/Word, email, or digital inventory apps) to log shipments.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail (to avoid shipping errors).
- Good time-management skills to independently prioritize daily tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Logistics: A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation for running external errands.
- Traits: Dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and possesses a strong work ethic.
