Job Title: Event Executive / Wedding Planner
Location: Mylapore, Chennai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 1–5 Years (Wedding & Event Industry Preferred)
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000/month (Based on Experience)
About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, organized, and client-focused Event Executive and Wedding Planner to manage weddings and events from planning to successful execution. The ideal candidate will coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event operations while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
EVENT EXECUTIVE
Role Overview:
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events while managing vendors, logistics, branding, and on-site operations to ensure successful event delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- On-ground Execution: Coordinate and manage events from setup to completion
- Vendor & Team Coordination: Liaise with production, decor, technical, venue, and branding teams
- Logistics & Setup: Ensure all event requirements, branding, and materials are arranged as per plan
- Includes flex, backdrops, stage graphics, standees, banners, signage
- Pre-Event Work: Conduct venue visits, prepare checklists, and oversee setup
- Timelines: Track event schedules and manage multiple deadlines
- Issue Resolution: Handle on-site problems quickly and efficiently
- Reporting: Create post-event reports and collect feedback
- Travel: Be available for site visits and events as required
Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years in Event Operations / Event Management
- Skill: Strong coordination, communication, and vendor management skills
- Knowledge: Good understanding of event production, branding, and logistics
- Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Google Workspace
- Traits: Detail-oriented, problem-solver, and able to work flexible hours

WEDDING PLANNER
Experience: 2–5 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with digital marketing agencies to manage leads.
- Validate and qualify leads; handle initial client communication.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships from booking to wedding completion.
- Gather and track client requirements and event details.
- Plan wedding timelines and coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
- Manage follow-ups, approvals, and event execution.
- Resolve issues promptly to ensure excellent client satisfaction.
- Ensure smooth and high-quality execution on the event day.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in wedding planning, event management, or a similar client-facing role.
- Strong communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple events under pressure.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and during events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.
- Experience handling high-end or large-scale weddings.
