Job Description
Civilize Public School is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented School Principal to lead the institution's academic, administrative, and operational functions. The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder educational leader capable of driving academic excellence, managing staff, ensuring student discipline, strengthening parent engagement, and overseeing the overall growth and development of the school.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
Lead and supervise the implementation of the school curriculum.
Ensure high standards of teaching and learning across all grades.
Monitor student academic performance and implement improvement strategies.
Conduct regular classroom observations and teacher evaluations.
Organize training and professional development programs for staff.
School Administration
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school.
Ensure compliance with CBSE/State Board norms and government regulations.
Maintain school records, policies, and documentation.
Manage admissions and student retention initiatives.
Staff Management
Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
Ensure discipline, accountability, and productivity among staff members.
Student Development
Promote discipline, safety, and a positive school culture.
Encourage participation in sports, cultural, and co-curricular activities.
Address student welfare and behavioral concerns effectively.
Parent & Community Relations
Build strong relationships with parents and guardians.
Handle parent meetings and grievance resolution professionally.
Represent the school at community and educational events.
Strategic Growth
Develop and implement strategies to improve school performance and reputation.
Support student enrollment growth and institutional development.
Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
Eligibility Criteria
Master's Degree in any discipline.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
Minimum 8-15 years of experience in the education sector.
At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role such as Principal, Vice Principal, Academic Coordinator, or Head of School.
Strong communication, leadership, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of school operations, educational regulations, and academic planning.
