Key Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize emergency patients
- Diagnose and manage acute medical conditions
- Perform emergency procedures and life-saving interventions
- Handle trauma, cardiac, poisoning, and accident cases
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Coordinate with specialists, ICU, radiology, and nursing teams
- Maintain accurate patient records and medico-legal documentation
- Monitor critically ill patients until admission/discharge
- Ensure infection control and emergency protocols
- Common Procedures PerformedCPR and advanced cardiac life support
- Intubation and airway management
- Suturing and wound care
- Trauma stabilization
- IV line insertion and emergency medication administration
- QualificationsMBBS degree
- Valid medical registration
- ACLS/BLS certification preferred
- Experience in emergency medicine preferred
