Maintenance Engineer

Ensure smooth operation and preventive maintenance of the powder coating paint shop equipment.

Maintain and troubleshoot powder coating booths, reciprocators, powder guns, cyclones, and recovery systems.

Perform maintenance of curing ovens, conveyors, compressors, blowers, and material handling systems.

Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities as per maintenance schedules.

Monitor and maintain utility equipment such as air compressors, DG sets, chillers, and electrical panels supporting the paint shop.

Ensure proper functioning and calibration of temperature controllers, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, and other automation systems.

Maintain paint shop equipment to meet Mahindra's quality standards for powder-coated automotive spare parts.

Coordinate with production and quality departments to ensure uninterrupted production and timely resolution of maintenance issues.

Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure the availability of critical maintenance spares.

Prepare daily maintenance reports, breakdown analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) reports.

Implement TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company maintenance procedures.

Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors during installation, repair, and commissioning activities.

Participate in new equipment installation, commissioning, machine modifications, and process improvements.
