Job Description – Solar Expert EngineerPosition: Solar Expert Engineer
Company: Son-so-Lite Retail
Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on Experience)
About the RoleSon-so-Lite Retail is looking for a skilled Solar Expert Engineer to design, plan, and execute rooftop solar projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in solar system design, site surveys, and project execution with strong knowledge of PVsyst software.
- Key ResponsibilitiesDesign rooftop solar PV systems using PVsyst Software.
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments.
- Prepare system layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and BOQs.
- Calculate system sizing, energy generation, and performance analysis.
- Coordinate with the installation team for project execution.
- Ensure compliance with MNRE and DISCOM guidelines.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and commissioning.
- Prepare technical documentation and customer proposals.
- Provide technical support to the sales and marketing team.
- Maintain project quality, safety, and documentation standards.
- EligibilityB.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the solar industry.
- PVsyst software knowledge is mandatory.
- Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
- Knowledge of rooftop solar installation and net metering.
- Understanding of MNRE subsidy schemes and DISCOM processes is an advantage.
