About Us
Akshayarithu Chits Private Limited is a registered chit fund company with branches in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Our Salem branch is expanding its operations and we are looking for a trustworthy local professional to strengthen our customer verification process.
About the Role
We are hiring a Field Verification Officer to verify new customer details on the ground. This is a position of trust and responsibility, ideally suited for a retired police or ex-military person looking for steady, respectable post-retirement work.
Responsibilities
- Visit customer residences and workplaces across Salem city and nearby areas to verify address and occupation details
- Cross-check submitted documents against ground reality
- Take photographs of residence/workplace and share via WhatsApp
- Submit a short signed verification report for each case to the Branch Manager
- Occasionally accompany branch staff for customer follow-up visits
Requirements
- Must be a Salem local with strong knowledge of Salem city areas and routes
- Retired police personnel or ex-servicemen strongly preferred (discharge book / service records to be produced)
- Mature, presentable, and courteous — you will represent the company at customers' doorsteps
- Own two-wheeler with valid driving licence
- Basic smartphone skills (WhatsApp, photos, location sharing)
- Tamil fluency essential; basic English/Malayalam an advantage
