Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics & Navigation: Plan daily travel routes using GPS to optimize delivery efficiency and meet strict time constraints. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Package Handling: Load, unload, and sort items carefully, ensuring no damage occurs during transit. [1, 2]
- Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally, address queries, and resolve any order discrepancies at the doorstep. [1]
- Documentation: Verify customer IDs, collect signatures, process Cash-on-Delivery (COD) payments, and update real-time delivery statuses via company mobile apps. [1, 2]
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the delivery vehicle (e.g., fuel checks, tire pressure) and comply with all traffic laws. [1, 2]
Core Requirements
- Licensing: Valid driver's license (two-wheeler or four-wheeler, depending on the role) and a clean driving record.
- Local Knowledge: Strong geographical understanding of specific delivery areas like Faridabad, Delhi, or surrounding regions.
- Physical Fitness: Capability to lift heavy packages and endure long hours on the road.
- Tech-Savviness: Ability to operate navigation applications and company tracking software.
