Job SummaryWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant cum Office Assistant to handle daily accounting functions and provide administrative support for our tours and travel operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in bookkeeping, invoicing, vendor payments, customer billing, and office administration. Experience in the travel industry will be an added advantage.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting ResponsibilitiesMaintain daily books of accounts, vouchers, and financial records.
  • Record customer receipts, supplier payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Prepare invoices for tour packages, hotel bookings, transport services, and travel-related services.
  • Manage accounts receivable and follow up on customer payments.
  • Process vendor payments for hotels, airlines, transport operators, guides, and other travel partners.
  • Reconcile bank statements, cash transactions, and payment gateways.
  • Maintain petty cash and daily cash reports.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audits and return filings.
  • Office Administration ResponsibilitiesMaintain customer files, travel documents, and office records.
  • Handle emails, phone calls, and correspondence with clients and vendors.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, tour confirmations, and travel documentation.
  • Coordinate with operations for booking records and payment tracking.
  • Manage office supplies and vendor coordination.
  • Schedule meetings and maintain office calendars.
  • Support HR activities, including attendance, leave records, and employee documentation.
  • Perform general administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting and office administration.
  • Experience in the tours and travel industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and bookkeeping practices.
  • Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with online banking and digital payment platforms.
  • Required SkillsStrong accounting and bookkeeping skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of travel operations, tour costing, and vendor coordination.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Preferred SkillsExperience with travel booking software or CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international tour billing processes.
  • Familiarity with airline, hotel, and transport vendor payment procedures.
  • Experience handling foreign currency transactions and travel-related documentation is an added advantage.
