Job Title: Welder / Metal Fabricator (Grill Manufacturing)Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and welding metal components to manufacture high-quality grills for residential, commercial, and industrial use (such as window grills, gates, and safety doors). The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with various welding techniques, can work accurately from measurements, and prioritizes workshop safety.

• Key ResponsibilitiesFabrication & Assembly: Cut, bend, and shape metal materials (Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Iron) according to specified dimensions and design requirements.
• Welding: Perform Arc, MIG, or TIG welding to securely join metal parts and assemble structural grills.
• Finishing: Grind, sand, and polish welded joints to ensure a smooth, clean finish free of slag and sharp edges.
• Measurement & Layout: Read blueprints, sketches, or custom measurements to accurately lay out materials before cutting and welding.
• Quality Control: Inspect final products for strength, dimensional accuracy, and visual appeal before painting or dispatch.
• Maintenance: Maintain and clean welding equipment, grinders, and cutting tools to ensure they remain in safe working condition.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all workshop safety protocols, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like welding helmets, gloves, and safety glasses.
• Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: Proven experience as a Welder or Metal Fabricator, specifically in creating grills, gates, or similar structural metalwork.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating standard welding equipment (Arc/Stick welding is essential; MIG/TIG is a plus).
• Material Knowledge: Familiarity working with Mild Steel (MS) pipes, angles, flats, and Stainless Steel (SS).
• Precision: Strong mathematical skills for measuring, calculating angles, and ensuring symmetrical grill patterns.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy metal components, and work in a typical manufacturing workshop environment.
