Job Description
1) JOB PURPOSE:
Executing a sales expansion strategy to drive consistent growth by acquiring new customers by smartly assessing client credit worthiness, conducting market research, identifying potential leads, analyzing competitors, and strive to achieve monthly sales targets.
2) ROLE & RESPONSIBLITIES:
Sales & Business Development
-Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets (volume & value).
-Generate B2B bulk orders for tile adhesives (no retail dependency).
- Develop new customers:
- Contractors & applicators
- Builders & developers
- Real estate projects
- Government / institutional projects (if applicable)
- Convert ongoing construction projects into repeat customers.
Market Development
- Identify new project sites, upcoming constructions, and redevelopment projects.
- Conduct site visits, product trials, and technical discussions with decision-makers.
- Appoint and manage project-based dealers / channel partners if required.
- Track competitor activity, pricing, schemes, and market trends.
Retail Market Development
-Develop and expand the retail dealer network within the assigned territory.
- Identify and appoint new dealers, distributors, and retail outlets to increase market penetration.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and stock levels at retail counters.
- Conduct dealer meetings, retailer engagement activities, and product awareness programs.
- Drive secondary sales through retailers and monitor dealer-wise performance.
- Support retailers with product demonstrations, promotional activities, and lead generation initiatives.
- Monitor market demand, customer preferences, and competitor activities in the retail segment.
- Ensure effective implementation of company schemes, promotions, and branding activities at retail
outlets.
- Build strong relationships with dealers, retailers, architects, contractors, and influencers to generate
demand.
- Achieve retail sales targets and increase market share in the assigned territory.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain long-term relationships with key customers.
- Ensure on-time order execution, coordination with dispatch & logistics.
- Follow up on collections and credit control as per company policy.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and resolution coordination.
Reporting & Discipline
- Daily visit reports, enquiry follow-ups, and sales pipeline updates.
- Weekly & monthly sales review meetings.
- Maintain accurate customer and project data.
