Soldering Operator

Education (Preferred)

ITI (Electronics, Electrical, Fitter, or relevant trade) or

Diploma (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual soldering of electronic components on PCBs and assemblies.

Read and interpret work instructions, assembly drawings, and BOMs.

Inspect solder joints for quality and identify defects such as cold joints, bridges, or insufficient solder.

Rework and repair defective solder joints as required.

Handle electronic components using proper ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions.

Operate and maintain soldering tools and related equipment.

Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Support production targets while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of hand soldering techniques and soldering tools.

Basic understanding of electronic components and PCB assembly.

Familiarity with ESD practices and quality standards.

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Basic problem-solving and communication skills.
