Welder / Fitter

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components, reading technical drawings, and ensuring high-quality workmanship while following safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Perform MIG, TIG, Arc, or Gas welding on metal components.

Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts using hand and power tools.

Inspect welded joints for quality and accuracy.

Repair damaged metal structures and equipment.

Operate welding machines and related equipment safely.

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.

Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.

Report equipment faults or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Requirements:

High school diploma or ITI/Fitter/Welder certification preferred.

Proven experience as a welder in manufacturing, construction, or fabrication.

Knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment.

Ability to read technical drawings and welding symbols.

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.

Willingness to work shifts or overtime when required.

Preferred Skills:

Strong problem-solving abilities.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of welding safety standards and quality control.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing plants, workshops, construction sites, or fabrication units.

Exposure to heat, sparks, noise, and heavy equipment.

Requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
