Accountant Executive DEO

About the Role:-

Basik Innovation LLP is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Account Assistant / Executive to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will help maintain accurate financial records, assist with compliance, and ensure smooth functioning of the accounts department.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Maintain and update day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP or other accounting software
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment follow-ups
• Assist in bank reconciliation and petty cash management
• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings
• Prepare vouchers, ledgers, and financial reports as required
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams for billing and payment queries
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
• Support the finance team during audits by providing necessary data and reports
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry with minimal errors

Requirements:-

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com/M.Com preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (freshers with strong fundamentals may also apply)
• Working knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and basic accounting principles
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:-

• Experience with GST return filing and reconciliation
• Knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel — VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Basic understanding of financial statements
