Picker / Packer

Order Picking: Read and analyze order slips or digital invoice lists to locate and retrieve the specific quantities of cakes, brownies, pastries, and savouries from the central kitchen or warehouse shelves.

Product Packaging: Carefully wrap and place fragile bakery products into correct packaging materials (e.g., cardboard boxes, trays, or specialized food containers) to ensure they are not damaged during transport.

Quality Check: Inspect food items during picking and packing for visible defects, expiry dates, or incorrect shapes, and report discrepancies immediately.

Labeling & Sorting: Affix barcode labels, price tags, and destination stickers correctly to the finalized shipping containers.

Inventory Management: Organize packed items in designated dispatch bays, use handheld scanners to track inventory data, and assist in restocking packing materials.

Hygiene & Safety Compliance: Strictly maintain food safety standards, wear mandated protective gear (hairnets, gloves, aprons), and ensure a clean warehouse work environment.
