As we rapidly expand our footprint across India, we are looking for dynamic, result-oriented leaders to spearhead our growth in high-potential markets.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager for Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and expanding our dealer/distributor network, driving retail sales growth, and positioning BEERIDE as the market leader in the region.
You will have complete ownership of the Tamil Nadu territory, managing everything from channel expansion to localized marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Network Expansion: Identify, onboard, and manage multi-brand dealers, exclusive distributors, and retail touchpoints across key cities in Tamil Nadu.
Sales Targets: Own and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and revenue targets for the region.
Market Intelligence: Analyze regional market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer preferences to identify new growth opportunities.
Relationship Management: Maintain strong, long-term relationships with trade partners, ensuring excellent customer service, timely order fulfillment, and dispute resolution.
Brand Visibility: Ensure prominent in-store display, branding, and marketing material deployment (POSMs) across all partner outlets.
Team Leadership: (If applicable) Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing field sales team to maximize market penetration.
Collections & Logistics: Ensure smooth credit management, timely payment collections, and coordinate with the logistics team for seamless stock supply.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree or a related field .
Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven sales experience inTamil Nadu.
Industry Background: Preferred experience in Electric Vehicles (EV), Bicycles, distribution networks.
Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in Tamil and basic english (Hindi is a plus).
Geographical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the demographic and commercial nuances of the Tamil Nadu market.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong channel sales and distribution management skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a highly dynamic startup/growth environment.
Data-driven approach to sales tracking and reporting.
Willingness to travel extensively across the state (up to 60-70% of the time).
