Job Description
A Sales Executive in the packaging industry drives revenue by identifying new B2B clients, presenting custom packaging solutions, and managing client accounts. They act as the bridge between the production team and the client, ensuring packaging specifications meet industry standards and delivery deadlines are strictly met. [1, 2]
Job Location : Nelore - Andhra Pradesh
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Proactively prospect for new clients across target industries (e.g., FMCG, retail, food, and pharmaceuticals) using cold calls, networking, and market research. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Client Consultation: Understand client requirements, recommend the right packaging materials (e.g., flexible, rigid, corrugated, or biodegradable), and provide customized quotes. [1]
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high satisfaction, repeat business, and prompt resolution of any delivery or quality issues. [1, 2]
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas, and maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM software. [1, 2]
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and logistics teams to coordinate artwork approvals, sample testing, and timely delivery. [1]
Essential Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 5+ years of proven B2B sales experience, ideally within the printing, paper, or packaging manufacturing industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of packaging formats, materials, and conversion processes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Field Capability: Willingness to travel to meet prospective and existing clients. [1, 2, 3, 4]
