AML / KYC Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical AML/KYC Executive to join our compliance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting customer due diligence, monitoring transactions, and ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform KYC onboarding and customer verification as per regulatory requirements.
• Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk customers.
• Review customer documentation to verify identity and business information.
• Screen customers against sanctions, PEP (Politically Exposed Persons), and adverse media databases.
• Monitor customer transactions to identify suspicious or unusual activities.
• Investigate alerts and escalate potential AML risks to the compliance team.
• Prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)/Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) when required.
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure timely updates.
• Ensure adherence to AML, KYC, and regulatory compliance guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve documentation and compliance-related queries.
• Stay updated with regulatory changes and internal compliance policies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in AML, KYC, financial crime compliance, banking operations, or a related role.
• Freshers with relevant knowledge or certification in AML/KYC are encouraged to apply.
