Job Description

📌 JOB TITLE: Domestic Procurement – IT Hardware & Peripherals

Company: Matrix

Location: Okhla Phase – 2, New Delhi

Experience Required: Minimum 3+ Years

Educational Background: Computer Science / IT Background (Mandatory)

Work Mode: Work from office

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Industry: IT Hardware / Computer Peripherals

Salary: Up to 30k/month


📌 Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Sourcing

  • Manage end-to-end procurement of IT hardware and networking products from domestic and international vendors.
  • Source products based on business requirements while ensuring quality, availability, and cost efficiency.

2. Vendor Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, distributors, and suppliers.
  • Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate commercial terms and delivery schedules.

3. International & Domestic Procurement

  • Coordinate with international and domestic vendors for order placement, pricing, and shipment schedules.
  • Handle import documentation and coordinate with freight forwarders and customs agents.

4. Purchase Order & Documentation

  • Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain procurement records.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, vendor databases, and pricing history.

5. Logistics & Delivery Coordination

  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Resolve procurement, shipment, and delivery-related issues.

6. Inventory & Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate with Sales, Technical, Warehouse, and Accounts teams to fulfill procurement requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely product availability.

7. Cost Optimization & Market Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, product availability, and pricing.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations.

8. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, import regulations, and INCOTERMS.
  • Prepare procurement reports, vendor performance reports, and MIS for management.


📌 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES       

  • Manage end-to-end procurement of computer peripherals and IT hardware
  • including keyboards, mouse, monitors, CPUs, RAM, SSDs, HDDs, printers, networking devices, etc.·       
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure best quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Prepare and process RFQs, comparative statements, and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as production, sales, and finance for procurement planning and execution.
  • Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, pricing details, and MIS reports.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing changes, and availability of computer peripherals.
  • Handle warranty claims, replacements, and returns with vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.

 

📌 REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in procurement of computer peripherals / IT hardware.
  • Computer Science / IT educational background is mandatory.
  • Strong technical understanding of computer hardware components.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP / procurement systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

 

📌 PREFERRED (GOOD TO HAVE)

  • Experience dealing with OEMs and authorized distributors.
  • Exposure to import procurement and basic logistics documentation.·       
  • Inventory planning and demand forecasting experience.
