About Barsana Aahaar

Barsana Aahaar is Chandigarh's leading **100% Pure Sattvik Restaurant (No Onion • No Garlic)** serving authentic Braj-inspired cuisine in a fast-service environment. We are looking for a responsible, energetic and customer-focused Restaurant Manager who can efficiently manage daily restaurant operations and lead the team.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Operations

* Supervise complete day-to-day restaurant operations.

* Ensure smooth opening and closing of the restaurant.

* Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards.

* Ensure quick service during breakfast, lunch and evening peak hours.

* Monitor dine-in, takeaway and online orders.

* Coordinate between kitchen and front counter for smooth order execution.

Team Management

* Manage chefs, helpers, cashiers and service staff.

* Allocate daily duties and shifts.

* Maintain staff attendance and punctuality.

* Train new employees as per company SOPs.

* Motivate the team to provide excellent customer service.

* Resolve staff issues professionally.

Customer Service

* Welcome and assist customers.

* Handle customer complaints politely and professionally.

* Ensure every customer receives quality food and quick service.

* Build customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.

Billing & Cash Management

* Handle daily cash collection.

* Verify billing accuracy.

* Manage UPI, card and cash payments.

* Prepare daily sales reports.

* Close daily cash and submit reports.

Inventory & Store Management

* Monitor stock levels.

* Raise purchase requirements before stock shortages.

* Maintain inventory records.

* Reduce food wastage.

* Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) is followed.

Kitchen Coordination

* Coordinate with chefs for production planning.

* Ensure recipes and portion sizes are followed.

* Maintain food quality and presentation.

* Ensure timely preparation during rush hours.

Software & Reporting

* Operate PetPooja POS software.

* Generate sales reports.

* Update menu items and billing if required.

* Maintain daily operational reports.

Marketing Support

* Assist in executing restaurant offers and promotions.

* Encourage Google Reviews and customer feedback.

* Coordinate with delivery partners when required.

Daily Tasks

* Open restaurant as per SOP.

* Check staff attendance and grooming.

* Verify cleanliness of dining area and kitchen.

* Ensure sufficient stock before service begins.

* Monitor breakfast, lunch and evening service.

* Handle customer queries.

* Supervise billing operations.

* Coordinate online orders.

* Maintain inventory records.

* Prepare End-of-Day sales report.

* Close restaurant as per SOP.

Required Skills

* Minimum 2 years experience in Restaurant/QSR/Food & Beverage Industry.

* Basic spoken and written English.

* Excellent Hindi communication skills.

* Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Email, POS Billing).

* Experience using **Petpooja POS** (preferred).

* Good leadership and team management skills.

* Ability to work under pressure during peak hours.

* Honest, responsible and customer-oriented personality.

* Strong problem-solving ability.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualification

* Graduate preferred (12th Pass with relevant restaurant experience may also apply).
