Job Description – Business Development Executive
Department: Alternate Channel – New Customer Acquisition
Location: Cluster-based (covering 8–10 branches under a Cluster Sales Manager)
About the RoleMuthoot Finance Ltd is looking for energetic, ambitious, and result-driven Sales Interns to join our Alternate Channel team for New Customer Acquisition.
This internship offers hands-on exposure in field sales, lead generation, customer acquisition, and financial product sales under the guidance of experienced Sales Managers. Candidates will be part of a structured growth program with a clear career progression path to become a Sales Manager within 18 months.
Key Responsibilities· Generate leads through open market activities for Gold Loans and other financial products.
· Conduct customer acquisition drives and build strong customer relationships.
· Support branch teams in customer onboarding, KYC verification, and operational activities.
· Assist Cluster Sales Managers in achieving sales targets across 8–10 branches.
· Learn and implement financial product pitching and field sales strategies.
· Conduct market visits, competitor analysis, and customer engagement activities.
· Provide regular updates on performance and market feedback to the Sales Manager.
Eligibility Criteria· Qualification: Graduate in any stream (2023, 2024, 2025 pass-outs preferred)
· Age: 21–27 years
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Willingness to work in field sales and customer acquisition roles
· Self-motivated, target-oriented, and customer-focused
· Ability to travel within cluster locations
Career Growth & Compensation
StructurePhase 1: Internship Period· 1–6 Months: Stipend – ₹12,500/- per month
· 7–12 Months: Stipend – ₹18,000/- per month
Phase 2: Executive Role· 13–18 Months: Promoted as Sales Executive
· Salary – ₹27,000/- per month
Phase 3: Sales Manager Role· After successful completion of 18 months, promoted as Sales Manager
· Salary – ₹33,333/- per month
· Retention Bonus: ₹1,00,000/-
· Total earning potential up to ₹5LPA
