Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities & Candidate Requirements

1. Source and procure refurbished laptops, desktops, laptop spare parts, and IT accessories while ensuring quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.

2. Develop and maintain a strong vendor network across refurbishers, distributors, traders, and IT asset suppliers.

3. Identify and onboard new suppliers to ensure a continuous and cost-effective supply of materials.

4. Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, payment conditions, and delivery schedules to maximize cost savings.

5. Possess in-depth knowledge of refurbished laptops, laptop configurations, grading standards, and key components such as motherboards, displays, batteries, SSDs, RAM, keyboards, and adapters.

6. Monitor market trends, product availability, pricing, and supplier performance to support strategic procurement decisions.

7. Coordinate closely with Production, Repair, Quality, Warehouse, Inventory, and Planning teams to ensure seamless material availability and operational efficiency.

8. Evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery performance, reliability, and service standards while driving continuous improvement.

9. Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs), procurement documentation, vendor records, contracts, and procurement MIS with high accuracy.

10. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and internal control procedures throughout the procurement cycle.

11. Plan procurement activities to maintain optimum inventory levels while minimizing excess inventory and preventing stock shortages.

12. Handle multiple procurement requirements simultaneously in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while meeting business timelines.

13.2–5 years of mandatory procurement experience in the refurbished laptop, IT hardware, electronics refurbishment, or IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) industry. 14. Strong negotiation, analytical, vendor management, communication, and Microsoft Excel/ERP skills with the ability to build long-term supplier relationships. 15. Demonstrate a proactive, result-oriented approach with strong commercial acumen, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to achieving procurement cost, quality, and delivery objectives
