Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- This role is primarily office-based and involves periodic visits to supplier locations and vendors for procurement activities, material follow-up, and coordination to ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted production.
- Source and procure raw materials, tooling, consumables, and outsourced services.
- Follow up with vendors on quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and quality issues.
- Visit suppliers regularly to expedite deliveries, inspect materials, and resolve pending issues.
- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Stores, and Quality teams to understand procurement priorities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms within company guidelines.
- Ensure all procurement documentation is complete and updated.
- Track purchase orders and provide regular status updates.
- Arrange logistics and transportation when required.
- Support emergency procurement activities to avoid production delays.
