Customer Service role in a Logistics, Transport, and Warehousing organization:
Location: Andheri East
Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused professional to manage client interactions and ensure seamless service delivery in logistics, transport, and warehousing operations. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating with internal teams to guarantee timely and efficient service.
- Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for customers, handling queries, complaints, and service requests.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Coordinate with operations, part load transport, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth execution of services.
- Track shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and provide timely updates to clients.
- Manage documentation related to transport and warehousing activities (invoices, delivery notes, service records).
- Resolve customer issues promptly, escalating complex cases to senior management when necessary.
- Prepare and share daily/weekly reports on customer service performance and operational status.
- Support sales and business development teams by providing customer insights and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, service standards, and industry regulations.
- Required Qualifications & Experience Graduate in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in customer service within logistics, transport, or warehousing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage client expectations under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM or transport management systems.
- Desired Attributes Customer-centric mindset with problem-solving ability.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Positive attitude and resilience in handling challenging situations.
