Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, visionary, and progressive Principal to lead our CBSE School, Gaikwad Olympiad School, candidate will have 3 to 5 years of proven experience in school administration, a deep understanding of the CBSE curriculum, and a passion for fostering a holistic, student-centric learning environment. As the academic and administrative head, you will be responsible for driving educational excellence, managing daily operations, mentoring faculty, and building strong relationships with parents and the community.

• Experience Required: 3 to 5 years as a Principal or Vice-Principal/Headmistress in a reputed Gaikwad Olympiad School
• Location: Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
• Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership & CBSE Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with all CBSE bye-laws, guidelines, and statutory regulations.
• Oversee the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) guidelines and progressive pedagogical practices.
• Design, monitor, and upgrade the academic curriculum, ensuring a balance between scholastic and co-scholastic activities.
• Lead the school through CBSE affiliation renewals, inspections, and documentation seamlessly.

2. School Administration & Operations

• Manage the day-to-day administrative, financial, and operational functions of the school.
• Maintain high standards of student discipline, safety, and overall well-being on campus.
• Oversee the admission process and implement strategies to drive healthy student enrollment.
• Collaborate with the Management/Board to align school operations with the institution's long-term vision.

3. Faculty Mentorship & Development

• Recruit, retain, and manage high-quality teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to educators.
• Organize Capacity Building Programmes (CBP) and professional development workshops for teachers.
• Foster a collaborative, motivating, and growth-oriented work culture.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary bridge between the School Management, teachers, parents, and students.
• Address parental concerns promptly and conduct regular Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
• Represent the school at educational forums, conferences, and inter-school events to enhance the institution's brand.

Job Specifications & QualificationsRequirementDescriptionEducational BackgroundPost-Graduate degree (M.A. / M.Sc. / M.Com.) with a B.Ed. or M.Ed. from a recognized university.Experience Range3 to 5 years of clear leadership experience as a Principal, Vice-Principal, or Senior Coordinator in a CBSE school. Total teaching experience of 10+ years is preferred.Age LimitTypically between 35 to 50 years (flexible based on exceptional merit).Tech SavvinessHigh proficiency in using School ERP software, MS Office, Google Workspace, and digital learning tools.Key Skills Required:
