Civil Draftsman 

Minimum educational qualification: ITI Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering  

Role: Min. FTE role to help the department with all below mentioned responsibilities. 

• Minimum experience level: 7 to 10 Years in drafting for Infra or other RCC and Steel Design Works 

• Skill / competency required: − Knowledge of 2-D drawings for RCC and Steel Structures. 

• Generates 2D drawings using AutoCAD with minimum guidance in conformity with other relevant Arch and MEP drawings to avoid any mismatch or fouling.  

• Produces all types of CAD deliverables. 

• Co-ordinates design drawings and models with other departments.  

• Ensuring issuance of CAD deliverables with relevant department document numbering system.  

• Interpretation of engineering drawings of other disciplines for IDC through 2D environment.  

• Preparation of transmittal and issuing of CAD deliverable to DCC.  

• Preparation of as-built drawings, drawing indices, if required.  

• Contributes to quality / quantity estimates and material take offs.  

• Assistance to engineers.  

• Collection of all information and drawings/ sketches relevant to the drawing undertaken.  

• Coordination with print room and other departments, as and when required, delivering & receiving check prints, coordination prints & any other document.  

• Preparation of MTOs where ever required,  

• Assistance in maintaining of all engineering deliverables records based on IDC/IFC.
