Job Description
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of real estate laws and documentation
- Familiarity with RERA, land revenue laws, and registration process
- Good drafting and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
- Title Due Diligence:
- Conduct legal due diligence of land/property documents.
- Verify title flow, ownership, and encumbrances.
- Documentation & Drafting:
- Draft and review agreements such as:
- Sale Agreements
- Sale Deeds
- Development Agreements
- Joint Development Agreements (JDA)
- Lease Agreements
- MOU
- Vet legal documents related to land acquisition and sales.
- Approvals & Compliance:
- Handle statutory approvals and ensure compliance with:
- Local land laws
- RERA regulations
- Registration processes
- Litigation Support:
- Coordinate with advocates on ongoing legal cases.
- Prepare case summaries and maintain legal records.
- Land Acquisition Support:
- Assist in land procurement by verifying legal aspects and risks.
- Ensure proper documentation during acquisition.
- Registration & Coordination:
- Manage property registration process.
- Coordinate with CRM/Sales team for execution of sale deeds.
- Record Management:
- Maintain legal files, agreements, and document repository.
