Head - Operations

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Operations Head to lead and scale our Quick Commerce and E-Commerce operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end operational excellence across online marketplaces, quick commerce platforms, warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and last-mile delivery while ensuring superior customer experience and profitable growth

Key Responsibilities

1.      Quick Commerce Operations

·      Manage end-to-end operations across platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, and other quick commerce partners.

·      Ensure high product availability, fill rates, and SLA adherence.

·      Optimize dark store operations, inventory replenishment, and demand forecasting. Coordinate with Key Account Managers (KAMs) and platform teams to improve visibility, promotions, and sales growth.

·      Monitor daily business performance and resolve operational bottlenecks

2.      E-Commerce Operations

·      Oversee operations across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Shopify, and D2C websites. Ensure seamless order processing, inventory synchronization, returns management, and customer satisfaction.

·      Improve order fulfillment speed, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

·      Monitor marketplace KPIs including order cancellation rate, return rate, seller ratings, and customer reviews.

3.      Supply Chain & Warehouse Management

·      Lead warehouse, fulfillment center, and logistics operations.

·      Optimize inventory planning, procurement coordination, and stock movement.

·      Implement SOPs to improve warehouse productivity and inventory accuracy.

·      Reduce inventory holding costs while maintaining optimal stock levels.

4.      Logistics & Last-Mile Delivery

·      Manage logistics partners and delivery performance.

·      Improve on-time delivery, reduce shipping costs, and optimize reverse logistics. Monitor delivery SLAs and implement corrective actions where necessary.

5.      Team Leadership

·      Build, mentor, and lead cross-functional operations teams.

·      Drive performance through KPIs, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.

·      Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.

6.      Data Analytics & Reporting

·      Track and analyze key business metrics using Excel, ERP, OMS, Power BI, or other reporting tools.

·      Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational dashboards.

·      Provide actionable insights to improve profitability and customer experience.

7.      Financial & P&L Management

·      Own operational budgets and cost optimization initiatives.

·      Drive profitability through improved operational efficiency and process automation. Monitor operational expenses and implement cost-saving measures.

8.      Process Improvement

·      Identify automation opportunities across operations.

·      Develop scalable SOPs and best practices.

·      Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and service quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field. MBA is preferred.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, E-Commerce, or Quick Commerce. Proven experience managing operations on Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Amazon, Flipkart, and D2C channels.

Strong understanding of warehouse management, inventory planning, logistics, and marketplace operations.

Experience with ERP, OMS, WMS, Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics tools.

Demonstrated experience in team leadership and P&L ownership.
