Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Commis to join our kitchen team in Raipur. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen and possess a good understanding of food preparation, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations. The candidate should be passionate about cooking, disciplined, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation and cooking of food as per standard recipes.
• Ensure ingredients are prepared and available for daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards at all times.
• Support senior chefs during food preparation and service.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Head Chef.
• Minimize food wastage and ensure proper storage of raw materials.
• Handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely service.

• Required Skills
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Commis or in a similar kitchen role.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Preferred Qualification
• Certificate/Diploma in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant experience in restaurants, hotels, cafés, or cloud kitchens will be an advantage.
