Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive – Last Mile Delivery / Dispatch to manage daily dispatch operations and ensure timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of products to customers. The role will focus on coordinating with warehouses, transport partners, delivery teams, and customer support to provide an exceptional delivery experience while maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch Operations
- Plan and execute daily dispatch schedules based on customer orders and delivery commitments.
- Ensure timely allocation of shipments to delivery partners and internal delivery teams.
- Monitor dispatch accuracy, including product quantity, SKU verification, and documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched on time.
Last Mile Delivery Management
- Track deliveries from dispatch to successful customer delivery.
- Coordinate with delivery executives and logistics partners to ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
- Resolve delivery delays, route issues, customer escalations, and failed deliveries.
- Ensure POD (Proof of Delivery) collection and timely system updates.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with Customer Experience, Sales, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Communicate delivery schedules and updates to customers when required.
- Work closely with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to maintain service quality standards.
Performance Monitoring
- Track key metrics such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), Dispatch Accuracy, Delivery Success Rate, and Customer Satisfaction.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce delivery costs.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and logistics documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
- Monitor inventory movement and coordinate reconciliation for delivery discrepancies, damages, or returns.
