Production Supervisor For Modular Furniture

The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all manufacturing activities in the modular furniture factory. The role ensures production targets, quality standards, cost control, timely delivery, and safe working practices while leading the production team and continuously improving manufacturing efficiency.

• Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & ControlPlan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Allocate manpower and machines for maximum productivity.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within deadlines.
• Coordinate with Design, Sales, Purchase, and Installation teams.
• Monitor production progress and resolve bottlenecks.
• Factory OperationsSupervise all production processes including:
• Panel Saw Cutting
• Edge Banding
• CNC Routing
• Drilling
• Assembly
• Packing
• Dispatch
• Optimize machine utilization and labor productivity.
• Ensure proper workflow and material movement.
• Quality ControlEnsure products meet approved drawings and specifications.
• Minimize rework and rejection.
• Conduct in-process and final quality inspections.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Inventory & Material ManagementMonitor raw material consumption.
• Control wastage of MDF, Plywood, Laminates, Hardware, and Edge Band.
• Coordinate with Stores for material availability.
• Maintain stock accuracy.
• Team ManagementLead production supervisors and machine operators.
• Assign daily work responsibilities.
• Conduct performance reviews.
• Train employees on SOPs, safety, and quality.
• Maintain discipline and attendance.
• MaintenanceCoordinate preventive maintenance of all machinery.
• Reduce machine downtime.
• Report breakdowns immediately.
• Ensure tools are maintained properly.
