Job Description
Service Engineer – Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission machines/equipment at different customer locations.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance activities at different sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation.
- Attend customer complaints at different sites and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and submit service reports after each visit.
- Maintain records of service activities, spare parts usage, and customer feedback.
- Coordinate with production, design, and quality teams for issue resolution.
- Recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during service activities.
- Support Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) and warranty service activities.
Required Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
