Job Description
Job Summary:
Café staff are responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, handling payments, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customers have a positive dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and take orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve icecream and other beverages.
- Serve food items according to café standards.
- Operate the cash register and process payments.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining, service, and kitchen areas.
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions.
- Handle customer complaints professionally.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service.
- RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or retail is an advantage.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic cash-handling and POS system knowledge.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate loads.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
