Job Summary
The Telesales Executive is responsible for generating sales through outbound and inbound calls, identifying customer needs, promoting products or services, and building strong customer relationships. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, maintaining accurate customer records, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote products or services.
- Handle inbound sales inquiries and convert leads into customers.
- Explain product features, pricing, and offers to customers.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Generate and qualify sales leads through telephone conversations.
- Follow up on leads, quotations, and customer inquiries.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Address customer queries and resolve basic concerns professionally.
- Coordinate with the sales, operations, and customer support teams to ensure smooth order processing.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Prepare daily call reports and sales performance reports.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in Telesales, telemarketing, or customer service. Fresh graduates with excellent communication skills may also be considered.
