Job Description

Job SummaryThe Office Boy / Peon is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office by providing administrative support, maintaining cleanliness, handling office errands, serving refreshments, and assisting staff with routine operational activities. The role plays an important part in creating a clean, organized, and professional work environment for employees and visitors in a real estate company.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesOffice MaintenanceEnsure office premises are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Dust and clean workstations, meeting rooms, reception area, pantry, and common spaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness of office furniture, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as required.
  • Pantry & HospitalityPrepare and serve tea, coffee, water, and refreshments to employees, clients, and visitors.
  • Maintain pantry hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Ensure availability of pantry items and report shortages to the administration department.
  • Office SupportAssist in photocopying, scanning, printing, binding, and filing documents.
  • Deliver documents and files between departments.
  • Handle courier dispatches and receive incoming parcels.
  • Assist with document collection and submission to banks, government offices, vendors, or clients when required.
  • Administrative AssistanceSupport the Administration team with day-to-day office activities.
  • Arrange meeting rooms before and after meetings.
  • Assist in shifting office furniture, equipment, and office supplies whenever required.
  • Help during company events, meetings, and training programs.
  • Inventory SupportMonitor stationery and office supply stock.
  • Assist in distributing stationery and office materials to employees.
  • Inform the Admin department about shortages or replenishment requirements.
  • General DutiesOpen and close the office as instructed.
  • Assist employees with routine office-related requirements.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Administration department or Management.
  • Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and workplace discipline.
  • Required QualificationsMinimum 10th Pass (SSC).
  • Higher Secondary preferred.
  • Basic reading and writing skills.
  • Prior experience as an Office Boy, Peon, or Office Assistant is preferred.
  • Required Skills & CompetenciesHonest and trustworthy.
  • Punctual and disciplined.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of office etiquette.
  • Ability to follow instructions efficiently.
  • Time management skills.
  • Physically fit to perform office errands.
  • Team player with a helpful attitude.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
